Pedal Paddle
The U. S. Bank PPP draws racers of every type as teams, pairs
and individual participants, alpine ski, cross-country ski,
bike, run, canoe/kayak and sprint to the finish, in this competition
from Mt. Bachelor to the finish line at Les Schwab Amphitheater
in the Old Mill District near downtown Bend. The Elite Division
starts the alpine ski leg at 9:15am. Spectator festivities
start at 11am at the Les Schwab Amphitheater area of the Old
Mill District and include food & beverage booths, sponsor
booths with everything from apparel to raffles, and music
in the Beer Garden. Location: Mt. Bachelor and Bend, OR When:
9 am - 3 pm
May 23 - Bridge Bash 2010
Crosswater Grille You are invited to participate in the Sunriver
Music Festival 2010 Bridge Bash. This year, the Bridge Bash
will be held at the Crosswater Golf Club. The event will host
both an unsanctioned duplicate tournament and the traditional
“party bridge” event. Registration for Bridge Bash 2010 begins
at noon. The luncheon will be served at 12:30 sharp, followed
by the bridge tournaments.
The event will conclude with dessert,
prizes to the winners, as well as door prizes. The cost, including
lunch, is $40 per person, of which $25 is a tax deductible
contribution to the Sunriver Music Festival. Entry is open
to pairs only. Entries must be received by May 1, 2010. An
entry form accompanies this letter.

Crooked River Dinner Train
Saturday, January 30 2010 To Tuesday, June 29 2010 Saturday
of each week 5 PM To 9 PM Climb aboard and step back into
the 1800's as the Crooked River Dinner Train operates each
Saturday night with a western-themed murder mystery entertainment
tradition along with dinner train theme nights including wine
tasting, family entertainment evenings, comedy night and guest
celebrity night.
Passengers enjoy a three-hour ride through the beautiful scenic
Crooked River Valley while dining on a three-course meal featuring
a northwestern homemade theme that can include smoked tri-tip,
chicken or salmon, along with vegetarian options, and a variety
of homemade pies. All meats and produce are locally sourced,
and Oregon wines and beers are also featured.

June 25-27 Pacific Crest Weekend
Sports Festival *We Are Proud Sponsors of This Event!
Each year, during the last weekend in June, athletes, joined
by their family and friends, converge on Central Oregon to
take part in the Pacific Crest Sports Festival. 2009 marks
the 13th year for this event that is expected to draw 4,000+
athletes. The Pacific Crest, which is known as the jewel of
multi-sport events in the Northwest has become a destination
race for athletes from across the nation as well as Internationally.
The Pacific Crest Sports Festival includes the Long Course
Triathlon, Endurance Duathlon, Marathon & Half Marathon, Olympic
Distance Triathlon & Duathlon, 5K & 10K Run/Walks, and a Kid's
Splash Pedal-n-Dash Triathlon & 1-mile and 1/2-mile Dash.
The Long Course Triathlon is the TRI NorthWest Long Course
Tri Championship. The Marathon is a Boston Qualifier.
The Pacific Crest Weekend begins on Friday morning, and the
Celebration continues through Sunday. The weekend will include
a Health & Fitness Expo, great food, beer garden, live entertainment,
fun, camaraderie, and to top it off, some of the best competitive
racing you will find in the country. The following is a schedule
of events:
Pacific Crest is being dubbed as one of THE PREMIER events
of it's kind in the entire nation. The triathlons are both
expected to again sell out and it is advised that you register
AND make your travel plans early.
