Apr 4 - Riders for the Cure 2009
This is our 6th year for this event and since 2004 you have
helped us raise over $50,000 for local breast cancer research
and education. The day is always filled with fun! Our sponsors
help us help you by donating snowboards, skis, goggles, backpacks,
shirts, beanies and more! But Riders for the Cure is about
more than just getting...it's about giving!! RFTC is a charity
event where net funds collected all go to the Sara Fisher
Breast Health Project, a local breast cancer research and
education foundation. This event has been developed to create
an understanding about the importance of breast health. The
mission is to educate and inform people in hopes for early
detection and successful treatment of breast cancer, while
raising funds for local programs. Mt Bachelor is trying to
educate younger people about breast cancer and what better
way to do that then mix it with riding! Start fundraising
now, so you can contribute big in April. Time: 8am to 4pm
