Jul 3 - La Pine Frontier Days Festival
July 3, 4, & 5 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) La Pine Frontier
Days features the following events daily: Art Show, Bake Fest,
Preserve Fest, Youth Fair, Midway Vendors, Carnival, Music
on the Green, Wild N' Wacky Kids Games, Pinewood Derby (except
Sunday) . Check out the Giant Quilt Show at the Senior Activity
Center and the La Pine Rodeo on Saturday & Sunday, July 5

Jul 4 - Independence Day
Jul 4- Fireworks Dispaly
Where: Bend. Fireworks will be launched off the top of
Pilot Butte State Park.
Jul 4- Waveloch Flow Tour (Hosted by Mavericks at Sunriver)
FREE!
Where:Sunriver. On July 4th weekend, Mavericks at Sunriver
will once again host eht Waveloch Flow tour. As one of the
elite Flowrider locations in the US, Mavericks is an official
tour stop and will welcome professional Flowrider "surfers"
from around the country who will compete fo cash and prizes.
Thsi annual event will be held at Mavericks on Saturday &
Sunday, July 4th and 5th, and is expanded this year to include
local residents and riders of all ages.
Come to compete and have fun or just be part of the spectator
crowd and watch the thrills & spills as the event is open
to the public at NO charge.
Jul 11 - Smith Rock 5K, Half Marathon Sunrise Summer Classic
5K, Half Marathon and Rock Race for Kids.Location: Smith Rock
State Park When: 6 am Cost: $22 and $35. Rock Race for Kids
is Free.
Jul 25 & 26- Sunriver Sunfest - Wine Festival
For nearly 20 years, Oregon has enjoyed Sunriver Sunfest,
an event focusing on the region’s fine wine varietals. For
two days, visitors to the festival will have an opportunity
to try wines from throughout the Northwest.
When: Saturday, 7/25 12:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m. & Sunday, 7/26 11:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m.

Jul 31 - Cascade Lakes Relay
From Friday, July 31 2009 To Saturday, August 01 2009 Running
Relay (216 miles) and Walk Relay (131 miles). When: Friday,
5:45 AM and Saturday 8 PM Cost: Entry Fee: Running Relay -
$1080 and Walking Relay - $840
Jul 31 - Casacde Lakes Relay
Gather 11 other friends, 2 vans, 3 volunteers and get ready
for a scenic, challenging adventure! The Cascade Lakes Relay
runs through the day and night as teams complete 36 continuous
legs varying in length from 3-8 miles on some of the most
diverse terrain Oregon can muster. Your vans will likely be
packed with smelly socks, adult beverages, more granola bars
than you care to consume and memories that won't soon fade!
